In a collaborative project with Rockwell Collins management, our team aimed to address suboptimal On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance at Collins Aerospace (Avionics), averaging 70%, below the targeted threshold. Utilizing data mining, SQL, R, and Excel, we delved into business data, uncovering material availability and supply chain inefficiencies as the principal culprits for lagging OTD rates.

Our investigation led to recommendations for an enhanced Inventory Management System and optimized Operations Planning process. These proposals aim to establish a robust foundation for improved OTD performance, exceeding delivery targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction. We delivered comprehensive presentations and reports, including an oral presentation, impactful poster, executive summary, and a detailed written report, documenting the entire process and our strategic recommendations.
